Virtual server hosting lets WSU schools, colleges, and divisions run university-managed virtual servers in the C&IT Data Center without no hardware purchase or maintenance required. Packages include VMware-hosted VMs with up to four processors and 24 GB RAM (as needed), 24/7 remote access, regular NetBackup backups, antivirus, and proactive monitoring/service improvements by the C&IT VMware team.
Terms of Service for C&IT Backup Services cover service duration, renewal, and the roles of C&IT and S/C/Ds in data backup, monitoring, restores, and change management. The Master Service Level Agreement takes precedence if conflicts arise.
Terms of Service for Basic Server Hosting define the co-location of S/C/D equipment in C&IT’s Data Center, including space, power, security, access, and environmental monitoring. The Master Service Level Agreement takes precedence in case of conflict.
This document (Terms of Service Agreement for File Share Services) amends the Master Service Level Agreement for CIT Hosting Services. In the event of any inconsistencies between the terms of this document and the Master Service Level Agreement for CIT Hosting Services, the Master Service Level Agreement will take precedence.
