Currently registered students and select Wayne State University employees are eligible for a free download of Microsoft 365. The software includes full versions of popular Office 365 apps and can be installed on multiple devices.
Employees in FP&M Grounds, Parking, retirees, volunteer faculty, and users with only Guest IDs or GroupIDs are not eligible for downloads, but can still access the Office 365 web-based apps.

Note: Student access to Microsoft 365 expires one year after the last registered course.
How to install
Follow the steps below to download Microsoft Office.
Step 1
Go to login.wayne.edu and log in with your AccessID and password.
Step 2
Click the waffle menu in the top left-hand corner and click More apps.
Step 3
Click Install apps to open the drop-down menu in the top right-hand corner, and click Microsoft 365 apps.
Step 4
Open the Download folder on your computer and open the package download. Follow the installation instructions.
