Follow the steps below to approve or dent a time-off request in the WSU Absence Requests calendar. Only employees in management roles with employees directly report to them can approve or deny requests.
Step 1
When one of your employees submits an absence request, you will receive notification via email from absencerequests@wayne.edu. The subject line will read Employee Name Absence Type.

Step 2
Verify via the email that the employee has the banked hours required for the request and click Approve or Decline in the email.
Step 3
Once you submit your response, a new browser will open saying your response has been recorded. You will receive an email confirmation.
