This document (Terms of Service Agreement for Virtual Server Hosting) amends the Master Service Level Agreement for CIT Hosting Services.
Terms of Service for Basic Server Hosting define the co-location of S/C/D equipment in C&IT’s Data Center, including space, power, security, access, and environmental monitoring. The Master Service Level Agreement takes precedence in case of conflict.
Virtual server hosting lets WSU schools, colleges, and divisions run university-managed virtual servers in the C&IT Data Center without no hardware purchase or maintenance required. Packages include VMware-hosted VMs with up to four processors and 24 GB RAM (as needed), 24/7 remote access, regular NetBackup backups, antivirus, and proactive monitoring/service improvements by the C&IT VMware team.
Co-Location Server Hosting allows WSU units to house university-owned servers in C&IT’s secure data center with 24/7 access and infrastructure support.
