If your gaming device, smart TV, or other internet-capable device is not compatible with the authenticated WSU-SECURE wireless network, you may register it to use the hidden WSU-LIMITED network. If you need to use your phone or tablet as a controller for your device, it must also be registered and configured to use WSU-LIMITED.
Register your device
Fill out the registration form to set up your device for connection to WSU-LIMITED.
Connect your device
Once you register your device (including description and wireless MAC address), follow the steps below. These may vary depending on the device:
Step 1
Open your device's wireless network.
Step 2
Select Add network (WSU-LIMITED will not appear automatically).
Step 3
Type WSU-LIMITED in the network name/SSID field.
Step 4
There is no password for this hidden network.
Step 5
If your device still does not connect, double-check you have entered the correct wireless MAC address.
Step 6

Special instructions for Android 10
The steps below are for a Google Pixel 4. Your device may vary. Android 10 includes a security feature that randomizes MAC address--so the one you register will change unless you disable this feature. This is mandatory to register an Android 10 device with WSU-LIMITED.

Yes, but the mobile device also needs to be registered for WSU-LIMITED.

The Ethernet port in your room will always provide the fastest and most stable connection to the internet.
Can guests use the WSU wireless network?
Yes. WSU guests can use the open WSU-PUBLIC wireless network. Never share your AccessID and password to give someone access to WSU-SECURE.
