Xfinity on Campus is a streaming television service available at no additional cost to year-round residents in all Wayne State University housing buildings. It allows students to stream live TV, watch on-demand content, and record programs using various internet-connected devices.
If you are accessing Xfinity on Campus from off campus, you will?only?have access to the TV Everywhere off campus lineup and you can filter for those channels specifically if you prefer by selecting Available Out of Home on their live channel guide.
Xfinity TV traditional cable set up
To access traditional cable in a campus residence, plug your TV into the wall jack and do a channel scan. If your channel scan fails, follow the steps below.
Step 1
Check that your coaxial cable is securely connected to the TV and wall jack.
Step 2
Unplug the TV and wait 15 seconds.
Step 3
Plug it back in and try scanning again.
